Artist by nature and scientist by education, Dr. Gen chose to become an orthodontist because of his passion for helping people change and improve their lives. He strongly believes that a beautiful smile plays a part in one’s success. Every smile that he treats is an opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s life. As he helps his patients, they help him. Dr. Gen meets many fantastic people every day who help him grow and enrich his life.
Dr. Gen received his Bachelor of Science degree from Case Western Reserve University, as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He attended the State University of New York at Buffalo where he earned his Master of Science degree and Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics. He was awarded the Pierre Fouchard Award, the Teledyne Waterpik Award in Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration Award, and the Academy of General Dentistry Award. He is actively involved in several local dental and orthodontic study groups and attends numerous continued education courses to stay abreast of current techniques and developments.
Dr. Konstantinos Apostolopoulos was born in Athens, Greece, and raised in Kalamata, Greece. We affectionately love to call him “Dr. A” so feel free to do the same! While living in Greece, Dr. Apostolopoulos attended dental school at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After graduating dental school in 2015, he worked as a general dentist in the military during his mandatory service and was able to also work alongside his mom who is a practicing general dentist in Kalamata, Greece.
In 2017, Dr. Apostolopoulos moved to the US to complete a three-year residency in Orthodontics at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). While there, he received the B. Holly Broadbent Award for outstanding research for his thesis project. Another fun fact about Dr. Apostolopoulos’s time at Case Western Reserve University was that Dr. Gen was his professor! The two have known each other for over five years and both have like-minded treatment philosophies.

Lia has worked in Orthodontics in every department (except as the doctor) for 15 years! She loves seeing a smile change and confidence exuded from a patient! In her free time, Lia enjoys hiking and running in the metro parks, watching her son play ice hockey and her daughter cheer, volunteering, and eating ice cream.

He was inspired to be an Orthodontist after his experience with braces when he was younger. The clinicians were gentle, and made him feel comfortable during visits, and decided he wanted to do the same for others! Tylie’R likes to box, play basketball, and go on fun adventures.
